Restoration of a Victorian Garden.
Monk Coniston is a Victorian era estate owned and managed by the National Trust near Coniston in the Lake District, England. A recent project they have undertaken is the restoration of the property's walled garden. The remains of a stairway were found, indicating a former veiwing platform, and the Coniston footpath crew was given the job of rebuilding it as a drystone structure using local slate.
